Born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Melissa, a native Oregonian, has had a love for African animals from her childhood. One of her life-long dreams has been to visit Africa and experience the wildlife in their natural habitat. As a young adult she became interested in photography and has become an accomplished nature photographer. She has now travelled to Tanzania numerous times photographing the countryside and its animals, gaining a greater love for that country and its natural beauty. Recognizing that many others also have a desire to experience Africa and its wildlife, Melissa is now using her expertise, and her contacts with native Tanzanian guides, to help others have similar experiences.
